PISTACCHIOSA - SICILIAN PISTACHIO SPREAD

A spread that earns its place at the breakfast table and stays there. Made with a high percentage of Sicilian pistachio paste and extra virgin olive oil, it has a glossy, almost silky texture and an aroma — warm, roasted, intensely nutty. 

The company, Il Colle del Gusto was born in 2012 from an unlikely but natural partnership. Antonio della Corte was crafting sweet mixes for gelaterias outside Rome; Anna Maria was running a farm and bed and breakfast a few miles north of the city. They combined their talents. His craft, her olive oil and her network of nut growers and began making spreads from their own land. 

Spread thickly onto a warm slice of Golden Sourdough, spoon over greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey, or keep a jar close to the toaster for those mornings when simple is everything.
