Orginally added to the menu in celebration of Easter Sunday - this comforting sweetness deserves to be on the menue one more time.
This babka is made with a naturally leavened, enriched brioche style dough - soft, lightly sweet, and slow-fermented overnight for depth of flavour. It is filled generously with Nutella, then braided so the filling winds through every slice.
Slice it as a sweet treat with good cup of coffee, or save a few slices and make it into French toast the next morning.
