L'ABEILLE OCCITANE LAVENDER HONEY

I first discovered lavender honey on a visit to Provence in 2025 and it amazed my tastebuds! had no idea honey could have this kind of depth of flavor. 

Floral, fragrant, and unmistakably Provençal, this is lavender honey as it should be. Made by bees feeding on the wild lavender in Luberon in southern France, it has a gentle sweetness and a floral aroma that is immediately recognisable. Cold extracted and unpasteurised, every jar arrives exactly as the bees made it.

L'Abeille Occitane — the Occitan Bee, named for the historic culture of southern France — has been producing mono-varietal honeys in the Luberon for over 30 years. Their approach is deliberate: each variety is made by placing hives next to a single specific flowering plant, so the bees feed on one source and one source only. The result is a honey with a defined, recognisable character rather than the pleasant but anonymous sweetness of a blended product. The lavender variety has earned a sofi Award, one of the food industry's most respected accolades.

This honey turns any simple slice of sourdough into a delicious treat! Drizzle over cheese, use to bake with, or stir into a cup of tea on a slow morning.
