Crafted in Burgundy by the last independent, family-run mustard mill in the region, this Honey Balsamic Mustard is beautifully balanced. The gentle heat of mustard never overpowers the delicate sweetness of balsamic and honey.

The mustard mill on the Rue du Faubourg Bretonnière in Beaune has been stone-grinding mustard since 1840, when Léon Bouley founded it in the heart of Burgundy's wine country. It earned a diploma from the City of Paris in 1903. Edmond Fallot took the helm in 1928, and his grandson Marc Désarménien runs it today. At the beginning of the 20th century there were 33 master mustard makers in Beaune. This is the last one standing — still independent, still family-owned, still using millstones rather than the industrial grinding methods that have erased the flavour from most of the category.

Spread onto warm Huddle sourdough with a slice of good ham, whisk into a vinaigrette, or brush over chicken before it goes in the oven. A pairing that makes good bread even better.
